The LEEN 72 seamlessly blends a distinctive design with a bold, confident character. Its bridge is thoughtfully crafted to provide both protection and security in every situation, ensuring peace of mind on the water. Beyond functionality, it offers a spacious, comfortable, and light-filled living area that enhances onboard enjoyment.
This trimaran’s layout encourages relaxation, whether cruising long distances or anchored in a serene bay. Large windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With an emphasis on safety, comfort, and elegance, the LEEN 72 stands out as a perfect blend of practicality and luxury.
Crafted using advanced composite technology, this innovative power trimaran boasts an impressive range of 3,000 miles—fueling up just once a year! Like all LEEN power multihulls, it features a single large diesel engine paired with twin electric drives in the outer hulls, enabling silent maneuvering in port with electric pod-drives.
As a true hybrid electric multihull, a powerful generator serves as an efficient range extender. The electric drives alone can propel the boat at speeds up to 5 knots, while typical cruising at 10 knots achieves ultra-low fuel consumption of just 2 liters per hour. Enjoy fuel savings up to 10 times greater than a traditional power trawler!
The layout of the LEEN 72, designed by Pierre Frutschi, offers two main versions.
Version 1:
– Four double cabins with en-suite bathrooms spread across the central hull and side floats.
– In the central hull: one cabin at the front and another at the rear, both with private bathrooms and separate toilets.
– The other two double cabins are located in the port and starboard floats.
– The saloon and galley are on the main deck, level with the cockpit.
Version 2:
– The starboard float is dedicated entirely to the owner.
– The master suite is on the main deck, with the shower, toilet, double sinks, and dressing room located on the lower level.
– Additional cabins include one at the front of the central hull and another at the rear, plus a double cabin with an en-suite in the port float.
A three-cabin version is available by converting the rear central cabin into a tender garage. Up to two extra cabins can be added in the rear of the side floats, bringing total capacity to 10 passengers.
Regardless of the version, the fully glazed saloon-wheelhouse at the front offers breathtaking 270° views. It includes a U-shaped sofa, TV, desk, and a navigation station for two. A gangway door provides direct deck access for easy docking and mooring.
Access to the flybridge is from the cockpit or through the interior deck lounge. Covered gangways along the high bulwarks enhance safety and reflect the trimaran’s ocean-going design.
The interior features high-quality oak furniture crafted by expert cabinetmakers. Outdoor areas, including the cockpit and flybridge, are customizable to suit the buyer’s preferences.
